The Viniyoga methodology for working with people who deal with chronic pain utilizes a variety of strategies that address the whole person. Movement and breathing are the most well-known yoga strategies for chronic pain, yet it is often the inner dimensions of yoga that are fundamental to optimal life functioning. This special workshop is designed for health professionals, yoga teachers, and others who would like to understand Viniyoga’s therapeutic interventions for chronic pain and learn Viniyoga strategies for assessing individuals with chronic pain and intervening in beneficial ways.
