Each year, Seattle Yoga News recognizes the great work done by local yoga studios, organizations, yoga teachers and individuals within our community with the Seattle Yoga Awards. The process consists of a first phase of nominations followed by a final phase of voting for the top finalists. The winners are then announced during the Seattle Yoga Holiday Party event.
The Seattle Yoga Awards include the following 4 categories:
- Yoga teacher of the year
- Yoga studio of the year
- Yoga organization of the year
- Yoga article of the year
Yoga teacher of the year: Aadil Palkhivala
Yoga studio of the year: Alive & Shine Center in Bellevue
Yoga organization of the year: Yoga Behind Bars
Yoga article of the year: Pamela Chang (article)
