YOGAFEST 2016 was held at the David Barton Gym in Bellevue Wash. on Saturday October 1st, 2016. Over 100 yogis attended the event and stayed afterwards for some refreshments and dancing. The gym was closed down for the private event. The beautiful venue boasts their slogan: #LookBetterNaked. And you can definitely tell that David Barton is a gym filled with chiseled abs and unlimited gun shows.
Kevin Ng led the class through an hour-long vigorous yoga flow and David T. Wilson came in to slow things down and settle the mind before the reception. David Barton Gym opened up locker rooms for some major pampering and party prepping. Afterwards the attendees enjoyed an open bar by 520 Bar & Grill, finger foods, and various refreshments provided by the generous event vendors. The night ensued as people danced to in the middle of a gym. Sounds unreal but this is how YOGAFEST 2016 really happened! As attendees exited the party, ZICO Coconut Water provided goodie bags to keep the yogis hydrated.
All proceeds from the event benefitted Lifespring Bellevue, a non-profit dedicated to improving and empowering the lives of children in the Bellevue area. Event vendors and sponsors included ZICO Coconut Water, Suja Juice, Kind Bars, Essentia Water, 520 Bar & Grill, Brew Dr. Kombucha and David Barton Gym.
