Shaw-Jiun Wang

Biography

Shaw-Jiun Wang (Shaw) recently relocated to Seattle and is a licensed attorney in Washington. After years of aerobics and weight training in Houston, Shaw began yoga in 1996, first Bikram, Ashtanga and then Iyengar, and she has taken the path of teaching since 1997. Shaw has studied with B.K.S. Iyengar, Geeta and Prashant Iyengar in Pune, India, and assisted at the medical classes there as well. She also studied with senior Iyengar teachers including Lois Steinberg, Laurie Blkeney, Chris Saudek and Dean Lerner. She is the owner of the Seattle Iyengar yoga studio
