About Whitney McCormick

Whitney grew up in Bellingham WA where he graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in exercise prescription and health. He was introduced to yoga while in college. It took about six months for McCormick to really start to enjoy Bikram Yoga, but once he did it stuck and he has been practicing daily since. After graduating Bikram's Teacher Training in Los Angeles in 2004, he worked in studios in Bellingham, San Francisco, Korea, Australia and many European countries. McCormick eventually moved to the Seattle area where he opened Bikram Yoga U-District in September 2013.
