This Choose Your Own Dates Option is designed for those who cannot attend all 4 weeks of the 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Approved Teacher Training Courses in succession. These training weeks are offered 3 times in 2020 in March, July, and September, and 3 times in 2021, also in March, July, and September.

Those who Select The Choose Your Own Option can attend the Four, 6-Day Module Trainings over the course of 19 months in the Months that are Best for Your Schedule that we offer the training.

You Choose which dates will work for your schedule from the March, July and September Teacher Trainings in 2020, and 2021, but you must take the 4 courses in the correct sequence.Module 2 can only be taken after Module 1 has been completed.

Module 3, only after Module 1 and 2.

Module 4 only after Modules 1, 2, & 3.

You can even take 2,3 or even 4 Modules in the same teacher training if this fits your schedule.

This 4-week training allows students to be recognized as a 200 HR Registered Yoga Teacher. It is Approved by Yoga Alliance and has had over 140 graduates over the past several years.

We will focus on understanding, practicing and teaching Asana in the great yoga tradition of BKS Iyengar, author of Light on Yoga, Light on Pranayama, and Light on The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

The course also includes Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy For Yoga, Theory and Teaching Methodology, Pranayama, Student Teaching, Ethics of Teaching Yoga and Much More!

The fee for the choose your own dates teacher training is $3,800. We are running a special on this option for $1998 provided you sign up and pay for the training in full by Sunday, November 17th at midnight.

Students learn a great deal about yoga practice, yoga theory, and about teaching in this Foundational Teacher Trainings.

No credit toward regular classes or retail items for canceling. No exceptions to the above will be made.

Registrations are not transferable to other people.

The daily class schedule may be subject to change.

If any of the 6 Day Modules do not meet, we will offer you another Specific Module, extend the time in which you can take the training so that you can complete the training and graduate, and no refunds will be offered.

Richard Schachtel

 

Richard Schachtel is one of the most experienced yoga teacher trainers in the USA. He has been giving teacher training courses in Seattle since 1986.

Richard founded The Center For Yoga of Seattle in 1980 and continues to serve as its Director. Since 1980 he has traveled 23 times to India to Train with BKS Iyengar, Geeta Iyengar and Prashant Iyengar at their Institute in Poona, most recently in December 2017.

Richard has been a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher since 1984. He also earned a Sivananda Yoga Teaching Certificate in 1974.

Richard worked as one of the 60 Plus Assessors for the BKS Iyengar Association of the United Stated to Certify Teachers in Iyengar Yoga for 20 years.
