Join Stacey Rosenberg this April for a training in functional movement and anatomy.

Stacey’s experiential approach will help you embody your own body more deeply so that you are better able to retain anatomical terms and principles.

Engaging in movement, therapy ball work, touch, and more, this program will bring anatomy to life – making it relevant to anyone with a body!

Stacey’s ability to make anatomical concepts tangible, will help you to better see and understand all bodies, especially your own! Teachers who participate in this course will learn how to plan better classes, assess the bodies in their yoga rooms, and improve their instruction and cueing language, making them better all-around yoga teachers.

If you have a body, this training is for you!

You will:

Learn how to engage your body holistically

Examine your own habits, patterns, and beliefs

Demystify anatomical terms

Explore the layers of the body from the inside out

Redefine and unwind your core

Understand the respiratory diaphragm and other breathing muscles

Learn how to use yoga therapy balls and movement practices to illuminate body parts, muscle groups, and the movements of joints

Engage with and learn about the different types of stretching and the science behind it

About instructors: Stacey Rosenberg

Stacey Rosenberg (Yoga Alliance E-RYT-500, YACEP®) is a teacher of both the art and technique of yoga, weaving both wisdom

and play into her teaching. She is passionate about educating people on how to be a student of their own bodies while bringing the lessons from the mat into their daily life. Stacey crafts creative, yet physically challenging, classes that help students build both strength and flexibility. She offers clear, precise alignment cues and options for students to work at their own level. Her style of yoga blends a deep knowledge of anatomy, bio-mechanics, and experience honed over years of teaching and practice with a spiritual awareness rooted in the everyday sacred and a street-wise sense of humor. She hopes you will always come away from every class having learned something new to implement into your practice and your life.
