Asana modeling for a local wire sculpture

| FreeEvent Navigation

Join Ben Allanoff, a local sculptor working with wires, for a one of a kind experience.
Specifically, he is looking for an intermediate to advanced practitioner to hold a series of relatively basic poses, comfortably, for extended periods of time, in a public setting. he is not looking for “perfection” or even a specific body type so much as someone with some mastery of the poses and who likes the idea of a fun, peaceful day of yoga and art, in a beautiful setting.
Sessions will be 3-4 hours (including breaks), one on Monday 8/3 at University of Washington Botanic Gardens in Seattle, and the other on Tuesday 8/4 at Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island.
He can probably help with transport if you like. He can’t pay a fee but he will provide you with decent food and drink and give you a sculpture of yourself to take home at the end of the day. (He can use the same model on both days, or different people for each day, or maybe even do 2 x 2hr sessions/day…whatever works. )
You can see relevant examples of his work on his website.
If you are interested please send me a picture of yourself in one of your favorite asanas, and let him know which sessions would work for you, and if you have any questions, … his email: ben.allanoff@gmail.com
He will write back to answer questions, confirm, and work out the details.
