Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences that have been practiced for thousands of years to bring harmony to the body, mind, and consciousness. If you have been curious to learn about Ayurveda, this workshop will offer you a clear understanding on how Ayurvedic wisdom can support your yoga practice and enhance well being. This special two day workshop will cover Ayurvedic philosophy and seasonal self care practices. Both days include a nourishing, all levels yoga practice.

On Saturday You will learn foundations of Ayurveda. How Ayurveda is a practice of self healing, living in balance with your constitution, your environment and the seasons. You will learn to evaluate your prakruti (original constitution), and vikruti (current state). On Sunday Tami will share some of Ayurveda’s most cherished self care practices which to connect to inner essence and maintain balance. These include dietary recommendations, cleansing techniques and daily routines.

You will learn methods to move gracefully through the seasons, personal life cycles and how to align inner rhythms with nature’s rhythms. This course is open to all levels of experience in Yoga & Ayurveda. The intention is to create a nurturing environment for you to move deeply into new & familiar practices.
