The theme of this Bali yoga retreat is: Balancing left brained control and logic with right brained heart, art and intuition.

Come join us on our second yoga retreat to the magical land of Bali, Indonesia – from 3/10/2015 to 3/20/2015. The Balinese people truly touched our heart on our visit in 2014. Bali may well be the yoga retreat capital of the world, and we have found the most awesome way to explore Bali!

We will have two trips in one really, with 6 days on Bali, 5 at the incredible Floating Leaf Yoga Retreat Center, right near the beach of Eastern Bali. Floating Leaf is just completed, a brand new luxury accommodation with a wonderful, helpful, friendly passionate, ecologically conscious couple running things, with a beautiful and friendly staff. Putu is Balinese, and he husband Mikaku is from the United States. They have a gift for helping us connect with the wonderful local people, which makes it a special journey. They have a wonderful swimming pool, as well as an entire India Ocean just a half mile from the hotel. We will receive three gourmet meals a day at Floating Leaf.

Floating Leaf also has an incredible “sky temple” yoga space, almost floating in air, round, overlooking the rice fields, for our morning yoga with Roy.

We also stay 4 nights on the amazing tiny island of Gili Air, just a two hour boat ride from Bali. Automobiles and motorized traffic are prohibited on the islands by local ordinance, so the preferred method of transportation is by foot and bicycle or horse-drawn carriage. This is similar to one of our other favorite annual destinations, Yelapa, Mexico, where there are no cars.

On Gili Air, we will stay at the low key H2O Yoga Center. As their web site states: “Located on the idyllic Island of Gili Air, Indonesia near Lombok and Bali – H2O Yoga and Meditation Centre is the ultimate Island escape. Sunrise, sunset, sea, sand, scuba, snorkeling and yoga…need we say more?!

H2O is the ultimate island escape – sunrise to sunset! Located only 300 meters from the beach front, it is abundant with nature and nestled amongst timeless local lifestyle. It is a wonderfully unique resting place and sanctuary for travelers and yogis alike. Gili Air’s exquisite coastline offers beautiful white sandy beaches and numerous sea view restaurants serving fresh fish. The tranquil waters surrounding the island are perfect for snorkeling and diving and a great place to swim with turtles.

To top it off for our island experience, we have use of the round yoga palapa, with daily classes by Roy, but also opportunity to take classes from some wonderful and dedicated resident teachers at H2O.

Do be aware that our 5 days at H2O hasboth private rooms and dorm accommodations, so you may either see this as a bummer or a wonderful opportunity to connect with others more deeply. But again, we have luxury accommodations at Floating Leaf, double rooms. Our group will bring a maximum of 12 people, so it will not be a big group, more intimate. This also makes this amazing trip more affordable, the trip of a lifetime at an amazingly low price. While this time at H2O will only include breakfasts, it gives us the freedom and opportunity to explore and sample the wonderful local beach restaurants, with great meals as low as $5. We LOVED both the food and friendly people of both Gili Air and Bali last year!

Lastly, I have done an amazing amount of homework to find these two precious places. Our 2014 experience, as well as the reviews from Trip Advisor and others has been off the charts, so expect a special adventure. What really caught my attention is the consciousness, passion, and connection to the local people and culture that both the people at H2O and Floating Leaf demonstrated. Come join us for a trip of a lifetime!

Price includes 10 nights accommodations, most meals, daily morning yoga classes, all Bali ground transportation, water transportation to and from Gili Air island, and two cultural Bali excursions to the art town of Ubud, temples and other amazing settings.

Note: Take off an additional $50 if you have taken an international retreat with me!
