Begin or Renew your Yoga Journey with Introduction to Yoga

Are you new to yoga or looking to revisit the foundations of yoga? If you answered yes, then this series is perfect for you. We’ll learn fundamental poses, discuss basic yoga philosophy, and practice mindful breathing. Classes will help to increase strength and flexibility and encourage a better sense of connection with the body. This series will emphasize understanding and practicing healthy physical alignment in order to begin a yoga practice that nourishes both your body and mind.

Schedule:

  • Sundays, Oct. 14th – Nov. 4th, 2018
  • 2:30 pm – 3:45 pm

Cost: $75 for 4 class series

About the Instructor: Sarah Belisle

Sarah Belisle Yoga SeattleSarah began practicing yoga over ten years ago while working on her graduate degree in nutrition. She found that yoga helped her to balance the stress of graduate school and physical demands of distance running. Yoga became a touchstone that she repeatedly came back to while moving through life, transitioning in her career, and training for marathons. Sarah began teaching in 2013 after completing her teaching training at Yogalife in Seattle. As a teacher, Sarah hopes to help students bring more balance to their daily lives. She strives to create a welcoming environment where students can tune into their own mental and physical experience. Outside of teaching, Sarah enjoys running and studies acupuncture at the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine.
