6 Weeks to a Calmer, More Confident You
“I’m so stressed out.” We all struggle with looming burnout, from general work and family stress to full-on anxiety. What if you could find calm and be more self-assured in just six weeks? Using Yin Yoga (the calming part) and the chakra system (your roadmap to self-confidence), I’ll walk you through a program to find your best, less-stressed you. We’ll be journaling, having group discussions (where you only need to talk if you want to), and opening our bodies along with our minds.
- This workshop meets in person 2 hours per week on Monday nights from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Option : add 5 small-group Yin Yoga sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
- Option: add 10 small-group Yin Yoga sessions on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. and Sundays from 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
I’m offering these extra Yin Yoga session options because they’ll help you to sit with (and cement) your thoughts about each week’s focus. Plus, I truly believe in the power of gentle effort to make the biggest changes. Physically, Yin Yoga is about relaxing your way into a more mobile body. Mentally, working on the chakras is a non-judgmental way to evaluate your Self. I think they pair well together, and I hope you’ll think so, too.
$365 for 6 weeks of 2-hour sessions until March 25, 2019. $425 on March 25 and after. Note: this class is capped, so register early to save your spot!
If you would like to also practice the yoga specific to each week’s focus (and get a little homework check in), you can sign up for the weekly small-group sessions during the week that will only be open to workshop participants.
- Add 5 weekly sessions on Wednesday nights for only $250.
- Upgrade to 10 weekly sessions (on Wednesday nights and also on Sunday afternoons) for a bundle price of $350.

Hiya. I’m Janine, your guide to the world of private yoga.
I’ve always loved movement and fitness, but I didn’t come to yoga until after I had a number of injuries. “Just try it,” people told me. When I took my first class, I couldn’t tell whether I liked it or not, so I decided to keep trying until I was sure.
A year later, I was still avidly practicing yoga 3-4 times a week. If I was going to keep doing it, I figured I should learn more about it, so I took my first teacher training. That was when I realized I liked yoga after all. I fell in love with how yoga works for every body type and with how my mind calmed by the end of every session.
I’m always excited to talk about modifications and to use yoga as a complement to your hobbies, your functional movement, and your physical therapy.
My specialties are Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga.
