This workshop helps students find acceptance in their own bodies by sharing the principles of yoga as well as some related aryuvedic practices. Instructor Cami Funk will explain how asanas help the body to make an energetic shift. Co-Hosts Candace Frank and Gwynedh Van Allan, Creators of Bawdy Love Yoga a body-positive gender-queer lingerie line, will talk on the link between that shift and the idea of radical self-love.
Through a gentle yet firm framework to help improve flexibility, strength, and balance we will explore pose modifications for different skill levels and body types. Lastly, we will focus on stretches that are most accessible for unique bodies, and how these can help students access their personal strength and power.
