In this 2-part breathwork series participants will gain a deeper understanding of the power of pranayama and how to utilize various breathing techniques for emotional regulation. Students will be guided step-by-step through a range of breathing methods for moving prana, or energy, through the body to open energetic channels within. While exploring the practice of pranayama, participants will:

Increase awareness of breath

Experiment with controlling or modulating the breath

Observe shifts in one’s physical and emotional state during and after each breathing technique

This series is led by Penny Tonn, certified yoga instructor and licensed speech language pathology practitioner. Penny will share her knowledge of the scientific aspects of the respiratory system to invite a holistic understanding to the practice of mindful breathing.

Dates and times:

Saturday, March 25th and Sunday, March 26th from 11:30am-1:45pm each day.
