This workshop will explore elements of restorative yoga and yoga nidra to create a rejuvenating, healing practice for body, mind and spirit. We’ll begin with restorative yoga using its supported, passive poses which allow the body to open up and relax fully using lots of props. Then we’ll finish with a yoga nidra session including deep relaxation, breath and visualisation techniques all done while lying peacefully in savasana. You’ll leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and restored.

About the instructor: Sonia Weirich

Sonia WeirichSonia Weirich is a 500hr E-RYT yoga instructor, yoga therapist in training and educator with 15yrs of experience. She participates in a renunciate study program with her non-dual Guru, and she also holds a black belt in Shotokan Karate.

These combined experiences provide the unique energy and perspective that Sonia brings to her classes and individual client sessions. Through the transformational art of applied yoga, Sonia helps students and clients deepen their awareness and broaden their perspective in body, emotion, mind and spirit.
