Yoga means to “yoke” or connect: the body & the mind connect and we become more present.
Our breath is our life-giving force; vital & ever-present.
The Chakras deepen our connection to this force, to our body, and to our mind.
This workshop will introduce you to the seven Chakras in the body. Each Chakra is considered a unique energy center where we receive, experience, process, and express our lived experience.
After learning about each Chakra, Rae will guide you through an all-levels yoga & breath practice that aims to deepen your connection to the energy centers in the body. This experience will expand your understanding of familiar yoga poses.
The workshop will culminate in a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra; an opportunity to rest & absorb the information and the physical practice.
The Chakras can provide us with another avenue to explore our own well-being, self-understanding & care.
Come with a curious mind and join us on Sunday, March 8, 1-3pm.
Dates & Time: Mar. 8th, 2020 @1:00pm – 3:00pm
