This workshop is designed specifically for couples who are facing fertility challenges together. With a focus on simple poses, breathing practices and relaxation, we will learn yoga techniques to offset stress, release tension, and support fertility.

Allowing our natural energy to flow more freely throughout the body improves blood flow, helps with hormone regulation and supports the reproductive organs. Yoga and breathing practices help lower stress hormones, which can interfere with our reproductive hormones. Yoga practice contributes to calmness and mental clarity, to help us more gracefully face stressful events or difficult decisions. Partner yoga offers a positive way for partners to support each other on the path to parenthood and beyond. Yoga poses are simple and gentle, and effective for both women and men. We will be doing some partner poses during the practice. No previous yoga experience is required.

Instructor: Lynn Jensen, E-RYT, RPYT, MBA is author of Yoga and Fertility, A Journey to Health and Healing, and producer of the DVD Yoga for Fertility: Simple Practices for Fertility Support. Lynn has been teaching Yoga for Fertility since 2002, and currently teaches weekly Yoga for Fertility classes in Seattle, as well as Teacher Trainings, and Yoga for Women classes at Microsoft.
