Creating Healthy Habits: May Mental Health Awareness Challenge with Yogabliss Team

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. We invite you during this month to prioritize your mental health and well-being with this specially curated “Challenge”. With the support of the Yogabliss community you will work to create and rebuild healthy habits that will bolster your overall wellness.
The past two years have been unprecedented. The challenges we have faced collectively and personally have shifted the way we care for ourselves in so many ways. This is an opportunity to reset, take stock, and discover how we might better champion and prioritize our mental health.
How does the May Challenge work?
  1. Sign up! $5 tuition to enter.
  2. Pick up (or download) our *Yogabliss Healthy Habits Tracker. Fill it out during the Challenge (more on this below).
  3. Attend at least 3 classes each week. Yogabliss recommends you attend 1 active class, 1 restful class, and 1 meditation class per week. How “active” or “restful” a class is will be relative to your needs and goals.
  4. BONUS CHALLENGES-
    Invest in your mental health. Attend one our specially curated workshops or series:
    – Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation with Tasha Brown
    – Sound Bath & Yoga Nidra with Megan Sloan
    – Managing Stress Through the Breath with Rai Lowe

Yogabliss will randomly select two winners!
1 will win a free 60-minute massage with Jazmin Leader.
1 will win a free workshop at Yogabliss.
+ If you complete both Bonus Challenges, you will have an extra 5 entries into the prize pool. 

 

 

*Healthy Habits Tracker:
Upon registration you will be emailed a Habit Tracker sheet. Print this out (or pick one up at the studio). Instructions will be listed. You will personalize this Tracker to support you during the Challenge. Think . . . what habits do you want to establish? what habits do you want to rebuild? what potentially unhealthy habits are you ready to let go of?

 

 

Throughout the month you will hear from Yogabliss instructors, staff, and even students who will share the ways that yoga, meditation, and exercise have helped bolster their mental health and overall wellness. We encourage you to share your story with us if it feels right!
*This Challenge can be done by joining us in-studio for classes or online via our Virtual classes.
*Habit Trackers will be provided via email or can be picked up at the studio.
*We challenge you to attend at least 3 yoga classes each week. Personalize your picks to meet your needs. Our suggestion? Choose 1 class that energizes and challenges you (Vinyasa, Hot Hatha Fusion, Yoga Conditioning, Yoga & Pilates, BlissBootcamp, etc). Choose 1 class that restores you (Gentle Flow, Gentle Hatha, Yin & Restore, etc). Choose 1 meditation class (Mindfulness Meditation, Moving into Meditation). Hint – add these to your Habit Tracker!
