Danielle is an international vinyasa yoga and meditation teacher leading teacher trainings and retreats throughout the world. A vinyasa class incorporating the guidelines of social and personal behavior from Patanjali’s yoga sutras.
Living the yamas and niyamas: Yamas are often translated as “social conduct” and niyamas are translated as “personal conduct”. They are the first limbs of the eight fold path described by the sage Patanjali. Danielle will integrate these principles in a flowing vinyasa class and lecture on how to use the asana practice as a tool to discover the components of Raja yoga or, the royal path to union.
This workshop includes asana, lecture, and discussion.

Philosophy of Yoga: Understanding the 8 Limb Path
Deepen your knowledge of yoga philosophy with this lecture and discussion on the eight limbs of yoga and how it is relevant in our everyday lives.
The legendary sage Maharishi Patanjali describes in his classical work (the Yoga Sutras), the goal of yoga as total freedom from suffering. Patanjali elaborated the eight branches of yoga to help expand our awareness from individuality to universality, from ego to spirit. During this workshop, we will discuss all eight limbs and how we can apply them in our modern day life.
Lecture and discussion only. No asana but comfortable clothing is recommended.

Sunday, November 8:00-11:00 am/ $50
Relax and Restore
Join Danielle for a restorative class incorporating the 7 chakras. We will flow through a gentle asana practice, moving our awareness to the various main energy centers of the body, discuss how chakras are important in energetic healing, and learn the basics of chakra meditation.
This workshop will include lecture, discussion, asana, pranayama, and meditation.
