Enhance your ongoing meditation practice, or begin to develop/recommit to yours, within the support of Dharma Wisdom Seattle Sangha (spiritual community). This summer we are taking our cue from Sylvia Boorstein: “Don’t just do something, Sit there.”
Our summer session will be a lighter version of Dharma Wisdom Seattle Sangha. There will be no book, reading assignments or homework – just an opportunity to be led in meditation in community. Appropriate for both those brand-new to sitting meditation and existing Sangha members who want to maintain community and connection. This seated meditation will evolve from guided to silent over the 6-week session.
Rebecca Denk has been teaching yoga at SYA for more than a decade, has been a participant in every Dharma Wisdom Seattle session since its inception, and facilitates the summer sangha.

About the Instructor: Rebecca Denk
Rebecca, RYT 200, has been a dedicated yoga student for nearly two decades and began teaching yoga in her Central District neighborhood in 2007. She offers weekly classes at Seattle Yoga Arts and Studio Arcadia in the CD. When not teaching, she often can be found behind her desk as Deputy Director of the Phinney Neighborhood Association. Her classes are characterized by warmth, humor and a focus on physical alignment. Rebecca’s study of Buddhist meditation and appreciation for each student’s unique path greatly inform her teaching
