Flow with a Focus with Margo| a 5-part course series must book by Tuesday, April 14th
Moving Meditation
This specialty course explores flowing vinyasa variations coupled with breathing and mantra techniques. Experience yoga as a moving meditation. Each class builds progressively from one practice to the next.
Discover how you can incorporate breath work and meditation into your flow practice so that it serves body and mind both. The course will cover techniques you can easily add to your existing yoga practice to take it beyond the muscular-skeletal system and impact the physiological, emotional and psychological sides of you as well.
Again, this class will be on-line, to be enjoyed from the comfort and safety of your own home.
Course includes:
five, 60-minute flow + meditation practices
on-line modules covering the why and how we include various meditative practices on the mat
five, weekly small group calls with Margo for live Q&A
although the Q&A calls will be scheduled between April 14th & May 12th, all participants will have access to the videos for the life of the course (i.e. indefinitely).
Great for: Experienced yogis interested in designing a more personalized practice; Newer yogis who would like a slower paced flow class with time to better understand all that goes into a meditative flow practice.
Starting Date: April 14th
Time: 7:45pm – 8:30pm
Cost: $90

About the instructor: Margo Peña
Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500, YACEP
Most Recent Training: Anatomy-based Yoga Teaching Methodology with Julie Gudmestad, and Essential Yoga Therapy 500-hour Advanced Teacher Training with Robin Rothenberg.
What to Expect in Class: Sequences of poses are typically repeated for several weeks to build strength and familiarity in those poses over time, but expect plenty of opportunities to adapt the poses for either more or less intensity to create a unique experience every week. New areas of focus, techniques, or themes will be introduced weekly to layer more depth progressively in each practice. And all is done with a noncompetitive, light-hearted approach so you can enjoy the journey just as much as actually getting to the destination. Margo’s Yoga Fundamentals classes are often mini workshop-like practices intended to build muscular endurance and offer opportunities to explore different variations of poses. Her flow-style classes are typically slowflow, focussing on strong, steady transitions with progressively building sequences, that often borrow tremendously from the Ashtanga tradition’s primary series. Margo’s Intermediate Level classes are designed for those already familiar with asana alignment and variations, so fewer alignment cues are given – allowing more time to incorporate more pranayama, meditation and yoga philosophy into these practices.
Biggest Influences/Inspirations/Styles: Fellow Longevita teachers, Annie Carpenter, Robin Rothenberg, Julie Gudmestad, Iyengar Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Viniyoga, and Yoga Nidra Margo is currently teaching Non-Heated, Warm, and Hot Yoga classes and is available for Private Sessions.
