Fostering the Mind-Body ConnectionFeel disconnected? Run down? Anxious? Do you ignore the signals your body is giving you in order to get more done? Do you know what those signals are?
Self-care is far more than the occasional massage, bubble bath, or indulgence. It is the every day decisions we make to meet our own needs. Our mind and bodies offer us clues to what we need, but in our fast paced, do more, have more, be more world, it is easy to miss these cues and neglect our own needs.
In this workshop we will utilize mindfulness techniques, gentle movement, and self-reflective exercises to practice connecting the mind and body in order to recognize the cues are bodies are giving us. Participants will learn techniques they can use to continue to foster this connection between mind and body, and leave with practical tools and an action plan for implementing them into their daily life.
Please bring your own mat, a notebook/journal, and a pen/pencil.
