Foundations of Yoga Practice with Leah Glanz (5-Week Series)

If you are new to yoga, or seeking to reunite with your practice, this series will get you on the right path. Regardless of your level of experience, it’s always important to step on the mat with a “beginner’s mindset.” The intention of this course is to provide you the foundations for an informed and confident journey. Each week the instructor Leah Glanz will introduce a new series of poses led by breath, guiding you through a moving meditation.
This series will help you develop an understanding of accessible yoga poses for your body, regardless of ability. We’ll cover techniques to de-stress and ground the mind, establish greater body awareness and mobility, and discover the history and philosophy behind the practice.
This 5-week, gentle series is done in a semi-private environment (10 max attendees) to ensure you receive personalized guidance through your practice in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Date and Time: March 16 – April 13 (Thursdays 6:30-7:45pm)
Classes will be led our upstairs studio in a space heated to 65-68 deg. F.
Cost: Investment is $135 for the 5-week series. Aya members save 10%. We have one scholarship spot per series available at a reduced rate of 50% off for those who identify as members of a marginalized community.
