About the instructors:

Kim Trimmer

Kim Trimmer, Yoga Teacher and Owner of InsideOut Yoga, began teaching yoga in 1998. Her greatest passion is supporting students as they open to the bodies they inhabit. While they explore yoga poses and breathing practices, she encourages her students to gracefully accept their humanity, including their unique gifts and limitations; nudging them to grow into the recognition that there is nothing wrong here, they are just right exactly as they are.

Robin Maynard-DobbsRobin Maynard-Dobbs specializes in working with women who want to come to peace with their body image and feel relaxed and at ease around food. Her approach is different from dieting and is not the same old spiel about weight loss that so many have tried and failed.

She helps women to find their own IGS- internal guidance system – so that can discover for themselves what pulls them to use food when they are not physically hungry and how to truly comfort themselves in other ways. … so that self-nurturing come from the inside out.

For those who are ready to experience deep and lasting change, ARC Bodywork Therapy offers a gentle yet powerful path that allows the body’s innate wisdom to emerge. Using hands-on healing combined with ARC BodySpeak dialogue, she follows the client’s process. Hidden parts that tend to self-sabotage can safely emerge, express, and be integrated back into wholeness. After the session, clients generally feel more grounded, relaxed yet energized, equipped with specific tools to facilitate healthy changes in daily life. Since the wisdom emerges from the clients’ own inner discoveries, they are empowered to take the next steps without relying on an external authority for direction or advice. She has discovered that ARC offers the greatest potential for the deepest healing.

CHRISTA MIDCAP

Christa Midcap’s yoga journey began as a way to get more exercise and has developed into a whole-person experience. From her practice, she has learned that acceptance happens only when we are honest and open with ourselves. She has experienced the stress and frustration that can occur from pursuing what is not her passion and so feels compelled to share with others that which sustains her physically, emotionally and spiritually. Her approach to practice is quiet, calm, steadfast and solid. She believes the practice of yoga takes both patience and courage to achieve one’s full expression. Blending her favorite bits of many yoga traditions she promotes a sense of balance that will leave students feeling energized, relaxed, calm and uplifted.
