A special FREE class for kids ages 3 to 6 and their adult caregivers! We will use yoga-inspired movement to help little ones build their physical literacy, early literacy, and social-emotional skills. Come join the fun of Stories, Songs, and Stretches!®
This FREE class will be observed by our Stories, Songs, and Stretches!®trainees and may be recorded and/or photographed for training and marketing purposes. This class is FREE, but we request your registration so we can plan for your attendance. Space is limited.

About the instructor:
Katie Scherrer is a former children’s librarian who consults and trains libraries and educational organizations to improve services to Latino immigrant communities through outreach and bilingual programming. Her book Stories, Songs, and Stretches! Creating Playful Storytimes with Yoga and Movement (ALA Editions, 2017) was excerpted in the January/February 2018 issue of American Libraries. AL spoke with Scherrer about her book, its inspiration, and why librarians should consider adding movement to storytime.
