Free Mindfulness Meditation in Bellevue, WA. Decreased stress and anxiety, clearer thoughts with mindfulness meditation.

Le Center for Health & Wellness is hosting a FREE Mindfulness Meditation Class instructed by Jinnene Foster.

Mindfulness meditation teaches us how to be unconditionally present; that is, it helps us be present with whatever is happening, no matter what it is. Practicing mindfulness through meditation or other techniques improves both mental and physical health. Benefits on mindfulness meditation includes everything from decreased stress and sadness to increased levels focus and happiness, according to general mindfulness research.

What to expect:
30-minute sessions
A general understanding of what meditation is, and how to get started
An all-inclusive, collaborative environment where individual voices are honored
The opportunity to discuss meditation techniques with a group, and to ask any questions about the process
Take-away tools for students to use at home for simple daily meditation practices
A further understanding of mindfulness, how it aids in stress/anxiety relief, and how it can factor into a broader self-care regimen

Jinnene has taught yoga and meditation classes in the Seattle area since 2017, from incarcerated youth looking to find physical relief, to professional populations looking to distress at work. Jinnene’s meditation teaching is grounded in an extensive knowledge of posture and breath-work practice from diverse yogic methods and styles, including Hatha, Yin, Bikram, and Baptiste.
