Free Movement Method Description
Movement Method is a physical practice inspired by multiple disciplines. You might recognize aspects of gymnastics, dance, martial arts, parkour, yoga, and circus that challenge your focus, creativity, mobility, and strength. No class is ever the same but each is designed to enhance your coordination, balance, and overall movement capacity.
Through different exercises and games you will be challenged in fun new ways to build strength and increase awareness. Expect to play with inversions like handstands. This class is a wonderful compliment to your existing yoga practice!

About your instructor: Heather Ring
Heather is a Mercer Island mother of three, a NASM certified personal trainer and Precision Nutrition certified health coach. Since 2015 she’s been training in Movement, a newer generalist approach to physical practice developed by international teachers Ido Portal, Tom Weksler and others. She has found that Movement, through its diverse and challenging content, creates bodies and minds that are strong, adaptable, coordinated, intelligent and constantly improving. It’s a great compliment to her yoga practice, where locally she’s been a committed student of Richard Guevara, Yogabliss instructor, for three years.
