In the Tantric tradition, the full moon represents the fullness and glowing radiance of our consciousness.ย When the moon is full, it is said that it drips nectar down into us and reminds us of our inherent light and fullness.

Gazing, chanting, and basking in the moon at this time can bring forth deep healing and profound stillness of being. As we practice the full mandala of yogic arts (movement, chanting, pranayama, meditation and rest), we dance and honor the fullness of our embodiment; body, breath, mind, heart. This practice is a place to release the accumulated stress of the past month and prepare for the month to come. All are welcome to this circle.

  • Welcome & Intention Setting: 10 minutes
  • Gentle Asana: 30 minutes
  • Mantra: 10 minutes
  • Pranayama: 10 minutes
  • Meditation: 20 minutes
  • Savasana: 10 minutes

About the Instructor:ย Rainey

RaineyRainey first encountered yoga as a teenager, discovered her passion for it in her mid-20โ€™s and began teaching more than 17 years ago. For most of her life she has been curious about the great mysterious dance of life and death and has been drawn towards the traditions that help deepen and expound upon it. Her personal journey has given her a sincere appreciation for the tenacity of the body, mind and heart when given space and support to renew and recover.

Rainey offers Living Presence Yoga & Somatic Awareness: an invitation to move with deep attention and curiosity, pausing often to listen to what is currently arising and orienting ourselves in the larger context nature. She is devoted to co-creating a space of wild inquiry with her students. She is deeply influenced by her on-going studies in Continuum, Meditation and Trauma Release. Her decade as a certified Anusara yoga Teacher lays the foundation for her teaching. Rainey is a C-IAYT and E-RYT 500 certified yoga teacher and offers private therapeutic yoga sessions.
