Saturday, 2:30-4:30pm Functional Embodied Anatomy: The sacred bowl of the pelvis and Goldilocks with Chiara
The Pelvic Floor can be a bit of a mystery: is energetic flow held up by too much tension in your pelvic bowl? Or is the container leaking energy? How to tell? Like Goldilocks, what feels “just right” for you? Get an embodied tour of the geography of the area, connect with the flow of breath and life force and discover through the ebbs and flows of the pelvic floor, what feels just right.
Sunday 2:30-4:30pm Functional Embodied Anatomy: Feet to Psoas: Grounding to Fly with Chiara
Sitting as much as we do in our times has created even more distance between our sense of ourselves and Earth; this increased distance from our perception of ourselves shows up with issues with what connects us with Earth, both physically, mentally and emotionally. Renew your relationship with the ground through feeling the support and spring that it provides when energy flows from the feet, through the legs and up the spine. Experience functional patterns that supports grounding to fly.

About the instructor: Chiara Guerrieri
What to expect in Chiara’s Classes: Chiara teaches us how to connect with the body through the breath, how to track physical sensation moment to moment and how to find an internal sense that guides movement and choices for wellbeing. In both her SoulMat & Hatha yoga classes, expect to go slowly, to pay attention to your body and breath, and to explore alignment. An important aspect of Chiara’s teaching is to help students learn when – and from where – to stabilize or mobilize. Expect the wisdom of a 30-year teaching career, plus a good dose of humor, to infuse each class.
Main Influences/Styles/Traditions: SoulMat with Patrizia Gavoni, Hatha Yoga with Bob Smith, Forrest Yoga with Ana Forrest, Shari Fredrickson, ParaYoga with Rod Stryker, and dance from around the world.
