Sun Salutations are the basis for many flow yoga classes and are a fun way to bring energy and movement to your yoga practice. On June 9, weโ€™ll break down this invigorating sequence and go deep into the fundamentals to help you grow your yoga practice! In this workshop, you will explore the foundational poses of sun salutation A, learn how to transition between poses safely, and try out modifications to help you build strength. This is a great class for students who are ready to make the leap from hatha classes to slow flow classes, want to gain confidence in drop in flow classes, and those looking to refine their practice with more information about transitions and alignment.

About the Instructor:ย Sarah Belisle

Sarah Belisle Yoga SeattleSarah began practicing yoga over ten years ago while working on her graduate degree in nutrition. She found that yoga helped her to balance the stress of graduate school and physical demands of distance running. Yoga became a touchstone that she repeatedly came back to while moving through life, transitioning in her career, and training for marathons. Sarah began teaching in 2013 after completing her teaching training at Yogalife in Seattle. As a teacher, Sarah hopes to help students bring more balance to their daily lives. She strives to create a welcoming environment where students can tune into their own mental and physical experience. Outside of teaching, Sarah enjoys running and studies acupuncture at the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine.
