Join us on the Misa Yoga Deck for a 2 hour Outdoor Yoga Practice to Support Human Rights First on Friday July 27 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm co-led by Elizabeth Thomas, Terilyn Wyre & Jenna Buckley.

Human Rights First’s pro bono representation program matches good lawyers with asylum-seekers who need legal help and would not otherwise be able to afford it. They are RIGHT NOW providing that lifesaving support to families seeking protection at the border. Partnering with The ACLU, The Center for Gender and Refugee Studies & Covington & Burling LLP, they’ve filed a federal lawsuit challenging the arbitrary detention of asylum seekers fleeing persecution, torture or death in their countries of origin. Let’s help them assist with keeping families together & reuniting those inhumanely separated.

All money collected during class will go to support Human Right First. This practice will be outside, so be sure to check the weather & bring an extra mat if you prefer a little more padding. Our 3 dynamic teachers will lead different portions of the practice.  Local Noonday Collection Ambassador, Raeann Patton, will be on site displaying beautiful jewelry designed by artisans around the world. Noonday develops these small businesses through fair trade, empowering them to grow sustainably and to create dignified jobs for people who need them. Raeann will also be donating money from each purchase to Human Rights First.

Sign up for this free class on Misa’s Mindbody site & bring cash or check (made out to Human Rights First) the day of class. All amounts are welcome, suggested donation of $30
