Loading Events

This class will consist of some discussion about some simple things that you can to help the body have a more restful sleep. We will also introduce the Heartfull® Meditation techniques. These techniques (created by ASC co-owner, Savitri) help the mind begin to go inward, to the heart – the place where the process of regeneration takes place while you are sleeping. We will also do a few of the restorative poses, where the body is supported in such a way that promotes deeper opening and rest. So, wear comfortable clothing and prepare to leave relaxed and refreshed.

About the instructor: Sandra Storwick

Sandra is a Certified Purna Yoga Instructor at the 2,000 hour level. She has been a student of yoga since 1983 when she was living in India, teaching art at an International School in South India. She has been a yoga teacher since 1994. She especially enjoys working with beginning students. She has degrees in Education and International Development and is a graduate of Brian Utting Massage School. She has two grown daughters, both devoted to yoga and meditation. Sandra has had a life long interest in nutrition, health, spirituality, and healing. She loves to garden.
