In-Studio with Theresa Spencer

Mindfulness is a buzzword and a trend right now—but it is so much more than that. It’s an ancient practice that has been proven to radically expand and transform the way you pay attention (our most precious commodity), and in doing so, how you experience reality. When we see reality clearly, and understand what causes our stress, struggles, and suffering — and what lessens it — we can discover a happiness that we may never have experienced before, or even have known was possible.

This series will help you become proficient in the basics of mindfulness, build essential meditation skills, and establish a daily practice. Each week students will receive recorded Meditation Practice(s)  suggested focal points and explorations to support their personal journey. Join us to explore:
The Four Foundations of Mindfulness – Body, Emotion, Cognition and Dhamma
Stabilizing the attention amidst everyday activities
Moving beyond our “story line” into direct experience
How our thoughts “self-liberate” when touched by awareness
Why compassion is synonymous with true mindfulness
