A daily meditation practice can help to calm the mind, settle the body and bring a softer perspective to your day. In this four-week series we will explore posture, breath and various techniques for tending to the mind. We will combine meditation practices from many traditions and styles that include the use of mantra, imagery and mindfulness. You will leave this series with the tools to begin a daily home meditation practice.

Classes will meet once a week for one hour on the following Sunday’s:

  • December 2nd
  • December 9th
  • December 16th
  • December 23rd

Amy Brightman - Root YogaFrom the moment I took my first yoga class I knew that yoga was more than just simple movement, but it wasn’t until years later that I came to understand the powerful dynamics of body, mind and breath moving as one. I practice yoga because it keeps me sane, grounded and connected. I teach because I want to give back to the practice that has given me so much.
