Introduction to Mindfulness: 4-week Series with Julia Briggs

The value of a meditation practice can be felt in every aspect of our varied personal and professional lives. This four-week mindfulness series is designed to support participants in exploring mindfulness as a tool to cultivate spaciousness, perspective, and ease.
Throughout our series together, we will explore the science of how mindfulness works, have hands on experiences with a variety of meditations, and gain practical knowledge and support with incorporating mindfulness into our everyday lives.
Class One: Mindfulness of Breath & Body
Class Two: Compassion – Metta practice
Class Three: Mindfulness of Thought & Emotion
Class Four: Mindfulness in the Wild- Sustaining & Incorporating your practice beyond the studio
Each session is interactive and includes a talk, some movement, a guided meditation, and time for Q & A.
Priority for enrollment will be given to those who intend to be present for all four sessions.
Complete beginners and those with previous meditation experience are welcome to attend.
