Are you ready to begin your yoga practice?
With all the changes, uncertainty, and unknowns of the last 15 months, now seems the perfect time to add yoga to your self-care regime. (Think: reduce stress, breathe deep and slow down a little.) Come learn with us in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
Jenna leads this special beginner series, offering all the important foundational aspects of yoga with an emphasis on proper alignment & technique. She will help you learn to release tension and stress in the body, build strength and flexibility, and gain a deeper connection to your body that will benefit you on and off your mat.
This 3-week series is designed specifically for the absolute beginner, a returning yogi who has taken a hiatus from practice, or anyone wanting a step-by-step review of the basics. Students will be gradually introduced to a variety of beginner-level yoga poses and will learn how to use props and stay safe through alignment basics.
Although we’ll cover a lot, there will be time for questions, demonstration, and review. We look forward to helping you build a healthy foundation for your practice. Upon completion, graduates will have enough knowledge to be comfortable walking into a group yoga class.
This series will cover:

Tuition: $66 + receive 2 Free Class Passes to get started!
Yogabliss will provide you with a yoga mat if needed. We will also have yoga props (like blankets, blocks, and straps) as needed.

*Cancellation policy: Yogabliss cannot offer refunds. If you provide 48 hours notice that you cannot attend, Yogabliss will credit your account the tuition for the workshop-series.
*In accordance with the CDC & WA State Mandate, masks are required by all at all times unless students show their vaccination certificate and are fully vaccinated. Then masks are optional.
About the instructor: Jenna Buckley
“I discovered yoga at the gym and via DVD’s (I know, crazy right?) in 2004 while living in San Diego. I moved to Seattle in 2006 and practiced yoga at various places until I landed at Spira Power Yoga in 2014. I completed Spira Power Yoga’s 200-hr & 500-hr teacher training program in 2018. I am currently enrolled in my second 500hr certification with Amy Ippoliti and the 90Monkeys school based out of Boulder, CO.
When I began my journey in teacher training my goal upon graduating was to bring yoga into the corporate environment. Having worked as a Recruiter in the advertising industry for a decade I know first hand how stressful, fast paced, and that a 10-12 hour day is an average work day. I believe that offering yoga in the work place is an amazing gift to give employees and serves as a way to take a break from the stressful demands, and instead, breathe. This will ultimately increase productivity for the rest of the day.
As a practitioner, I love a challenging yet modified practice to keep my body, mind, and spirit healthy and strong as I work through low back/neck injuries, and at times anxious thoughts and grey moods. I find that yoga is the one constant form of movement that allows me to be in-tune with what my body needs. Although I love working up a sweat, I find that yoga is most beneficial for my mind – the practice allows me to let go of my often over-analytical thoughts and allows me to just be on my mat, quieting the chatter. I enjoy teaching an unexpected, creative, sequence that has a mix of vinyasa flow, strengthening, and barre influenced core combinations.”
