Foundational Practices to Support a Love for Inversions
Delight in learning to turn yourself upside down in a safe and skillful way and build new stores of confidence and courage along the way. Using specific key actions, and the knowledge of what needs to be strengthened and opened in your body (as well as attitudinally), you’ll be able to build your way intelligently toward these targeted poses and have fun! Leave with a good-working knowledge of the how-to’s, drills, and exercises that you can take with you, and the benefits and the counterindications of these poses.
Nancy will provide alignment-based instructions and experienced guidance that prepares your body well for the pose(s) and gets you to work mindfully in a step-by-step way to achieve the best version of the pose for you. Leave with an uplifted sense of confidence and courage to be able to continue working with these poses in your practice at home or in the studio. Each workshop will include experiential practice plus some partner work to support and learn from each other.
