Shoulderstand is considered the second most important pose in yoga practice. Overall the regular practice of this pose produces a calming feeling in the mind an a deep relaxation of the body.

It is a very important restorative pose and it is usually practiced at the end of a yoga practice to help one recoup their well spent energy.

The workshop is open to all except those with serious neck injuries.

Please note the above photo is just but one method of shoulder stand. There are several other methods beyond this restorative method pictured above.

The workshop will begin with a good warm up and preparation for the pose. Please wear yoga clothes.

We will do starting with more traditional versions of the post.
