A heat-building practice to bust out of Kapha Season

If the winter makes you feel lethargic, congested, or depressed this workshop is for YOU!

The main location of Kapha dosha in the body is in the chest. When Kapha becomes aggravated, mucus increases, leading to colds and problems with sinus congestion, allergies, and asthma, which can cause the body to feel sluggish and heavy, creating an overall sense of discomfort and dis-ease.

We’ll play with arm balances, inversions, and practices that stoke the Manipura Chakra. Belly work governs our digestion, discipline, power, self-will, and ego. You might say, “this work is between you and you.”

Bust out of the winter hibernation feeling energized and focused!

Main Influences/Styles/Traditions: The biggest infulence of my life has been my creator, my Mother, to which I owe all that I have ever learned along this path. I have been fortunate enough to recieve teachings from the Shri Krishnamacharya lineage. Full pranam to the large footprints of my Guruji Astrud Castillo & Jasmine Tarkeshi. I am beyond grateful for my spiritual family all along the West coast and especially Laughing Lotus San Francisco.
