Men’s Breathwork Ceremony with Tai Hubbert​

this breathwork ceremony is offered as a dedicated space for men to come together in support of healing, integration, and engaging from a place of deeper purpose, authenticity, power, and freedom. it is an opportunity to reclaim the full spectrum of one’s being and integrate that which has been dissociated, fragmented, and sublimated due to cultural, familial, and relational conditioning, and to the various experiences of daily life.

the afternoon will be an experiential journey of active, deep breathing in which nonproductive patterns held in the body and mind can be accessed and released. as the only function of the autonomic nervous system that can be consciously influenced, breathwork is a powerful tool for accessing that which is stored in the body and subconscious, typically beyond the reach of more narrative and analytical-based processes. in engaging a continuous, deep breathing pattern, you can track upstream to the root of symptoms manifesting downstream, including experiences of inner conflict, disassociation and numbness, shame, anger, depression, anxiety, insomnia, judgment, addiction, and a myriad of physical and psychological ailments.

this practice – similar to holotropic, rebirthing, and transformational styles of breathwork – is also a vehicle for opening the doors of perception and accessing “non-ordinary states of consciousness” that can bring about profound new perspective, understanding, and insight to support inspired, aligned, and authentic living.

About the instructor:  Tai Hubbert​

Tai holds a strong, compassionate, sacred, and masculine-loving container for deep work of the self, and you will receive individual support throughout the journey. for more information about the nature of this work and preparation for the ceremony.

**although this practice is simple in technique, it can be strong in effect. if any of the conditions apply to you, please contact tai (tai@swordandlotus.com) to discuss further prior to registering: severe hypertension or cardiovascular disease, epilepsy, bipolar disorders or schizophrenia, recent major surgeries, or history of significant trauma.

the fine print: registration for rh events are non-refundable within 24hrs of the event start time and are non-transferrable (for another event, or to another person). studio doors lock promptly at the start of all events to protect the privacy + belongings of students, as well as to promote sanctity of space in the yoga room once an event has started. additionally, we do not have a studio phone; please email us (info@ritualhouseseattle.com) if you need support in any way!
