Hi! Beginning August 24th, Wednesdays from 5:30 till 7 p.m, we are going to launch our first ever Men’s Yoga Class! This will be immediately followed by Men’s Karaoke Night at the Chinese restaurant next door. Joking! But can you imagine!!!!!?????

The class will last one and a half hours, taking place in RBY’s intimate and tranquil East side studio.

We begin with an optional 25 minutes of seated meditation. For those of you who find the notion of sitting still for so long completely unbearable, you can come in right at the close of meditation, no problem.

From there, the first half of the class will consist of an intensive, muscle and endurance building Vinyasa flow with the second half consisting of lengthy, held standing poses to allow for the cultivation of awareness, alignment and stability in our asanas. One should expect to sweat and get a workout in each hour but also cultivate a deeper sense of root, breath and alignment over the weeks and months. This is going to be an exciting and challenging class on multiple levels!

But first, before we can blast off into creative flows and ever deepening states of mind – we need four to five stalwart male volunteers to come on board and commit to a weekly class. If you’re a guy, you’re qualified! If you happen to know a guy, you totally might want to mention it to him.

The class will be offered as an ongoing 8 part series. $96 for the entire series.
Wednesdays from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. (Meditation from 5:30 – 5:55. Yoga from 6:00 – 7:00) The series can only be purchased in full, not as individual classes. But, because the series is ongoing, students are free to simply transfer missed classes onto to the next series, rather than feeling like they have to come to all 8 to make the expense worthwhile.
