About the Teachers:

Ginger Saunders - hauteyogaGinger Saunders:
Ginger Saunders received her 200 RYT in Bali. Her Style is a blend of every class she has ever taken focusing on moving from inner strength and creating space in the body while releasing tensions with hands-on adjustments. Ginger volunteers with Yogahope, teaching yoga to underserved woman who are in a 12 months rehabitation program at the Genesis House in Madrona. You will find her walking around Seattle and practicing yoga in all the parks

Rae Helsel yoga seattleRae Helsel:
Rae found yoga when she was going through chemo for stage three melanoma. In the midst of the chaos of surgery and treatment, it was the first time she experienced a release from the anxiety in her body and her mind through deep breathing and gentle movements. She was hooked. As she recovered I continued to practice, study, and train, and she loved the way that it brought more balance not just to her body, but also her life. Her practice began to alternate between vigorous flow and grounding restoratives, and these continue to be her favorite classes to teach because of the way that they have helped her heal and shift my perspective. Her intention when she teaches is to hold space for her students through music, movement, and body awareness so that they can come further into THEIR practice. She is fascinated by the scientific architecture of yoga and always tries to weave that in throughout a creative sequence of asana, pranayama, and hands-on assists. When she is not on my mat, she likes to be behind her camera, out in the mountains, or anywhere cozy with a mocha…
