Only an hour from Seattle but surrounded by forest and meadows. Amazing, new yurt, AMAZING food! They are known for not only healthy but incredibly delicious and wonderfully presented cuisine. Wonderful hot tub. Rooms newly redone and comfortable. Nice walking trail. $350 for 2 nights in a shared room including all meals, classes, etc.

What: A wonderful weekend of soothingly slow yoga in a beautiful new yurt, some of the most delicious, gourmet, healthy food in the area, meditation walks, kirtan (call and response chanting), Oneness Blessings, community connections and more.

Theme: Slowing down, ahhhhhh. Slow yoga, slow breath, slow food, slow mind, slow walking . . .

Where: Mosswood Hollow is conveniently located, only an hour from Seattle, WA, but miles from “civilization”. They have an assortment of rooms and camping options (although a bit cool in October for camping). Great yurt for yoga, nice dining and lounge area for tea and coffee and chatting. Nice pond to walk around. Big trees.

All Inclusive: Yoga, Meditation, Walks, and awesome, organic, gourmet healthy food. Price of $350 includes 2 nights accommodations, three organic meals a day, fresh coffee and tea, hikes, sauna, all classes and workshops, optional oneness blessings. Tent option for $275 (can sleep in yurt if you prefer). $250 by August 1.

Yoga:  Enjoy breath-connected, traditional, body friendly, meditative morning and afternoon yoga .

Meals: Mosswood chefs are renown for their gourmet, healthy meals, even with delicious gluten free options!

Activities and Schedule: We do morning and after noon yoga, eat together, enjoy an amazing hot tub in the middle of a meadow, walk, talk, receive Oneness Blessing (see link for more info), and play shops.

Who comes: We usually have about 15 people, a chance to make new friends and connect, but also quiet time to read, relax, and rejuvenate. Suitable  and beneficial for both beginners and experienced yogis.

Roy Holman has led about 40 retreats, in the North Cascades as well as Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala, Hawaii, Bali and Sedona.  He is trained and 500 hour-certified in the viniyoga tradition, as well as meditation, healing and reflexology. He is also trained twice at Oneness University in India as a Oneness Blessing teacher and trainer. He teaches a body-friendly, heart centered, meditative slow flow yoga, as well as meditation and breath practices. He is author of Healing Self, Healing Earth, and Poems from the Passionate Heart, and has a Meditation CD, Sacred Sounds.
