[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Mantra is known as a sound or vibration repeated to aid in meditation or deep concentration.
Our Moving Mantra offering invites you to honor the Sun, your body, mind, and spirit as we move into the darker months of this cycle. Through the practice of 108 Sun Salutations guided by Camo, we will move into depth of focus with attention made to safe practice, breath and intention. During the practice we will expand this honoring to our community and fellow yogis through inspiration and ceremony.

This ritual will close with a cleansing of the spirit with a cool down Yin series and extended savasana while bathing in vibrations of Tibetan Singing Bowl Healing from Reiki Master Lauren Acton.

Please bring anything you may need for a comfortable savasana to end our gathering as well as during our movement. (Reusable water bottle, and optional offering for our alter, pillow, blanket, bolster support)

About the instructor: Lauren Acton and Cameron Nagashima

Lauren Acton

My name is Lauren Acton, I am a Reiki Master and Tibetan Singing Bowl Healer – both very powerful, relaxing, restorative, and effective systems of healing that revitalizes our bodies and frees one from emotional turmoil, old belief systems, addictive behaviors, and physical disorders that no longer serve us.

After struggling through years of addiction, anxiety and depression, I was guided to the beautiful healing modalities of energy and sound. I discovered I could reorient my addictive thinking and behavior, so that turning to anything but my own love was no longer perceived as a viable solution to negative feelings and challenges. I found a new way of experiencing and responding to life’s problems, old habits and beliefs, and feelings of anger and hopelessness that created the overwhelming need to check out. I traveled within my heart and mind and connected with who I really am, embarking on the journey of unbecoming, erasing the illusion of everything I thought I was supposed to be.

Camo Nagashima

A photographer, dancer, chef and yogi, Cameron aka Camo, has experienced his own healing and recovery from addiction and depression through his journey on the yogic path. After having taken his first yoga class over a decade ago, the sense of calm and presence created from the asana practice was undeniable for him. Through his practice, he has found a way to feel whole and began to expand into a deeper sense of self while growing an awareness of body, mind and spirit.

In 2017 Camo received his 200hr RYT from Peak Beings Unified Yoga, and dove deeper into the Yin and Meditation journey in March 2018 with a 45hr RYT through YogaCara Global, bringing the balance of yin and yang to his practice.

With the intention of illuminating students to the connective and healing modality of Yoga, Camo guides through a balanced combination of meditation, mindful yin and yang asanas to help you restore a greater awareness to your whole being. Cleansing the mirror of who you truly are and how your light exists in the world.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
