New Moon Circle with Chelsea Spicer in Wallingford
Feb 23, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm| $35
(Re)connect to your self, your community, and your routines this fall. Join Chelsea Spicer for this two-part workshop that combines Lunar Yoga and a Moon Circle to sync with the lunar cycle and embrace intentional living.
The New Moon is dark and receptive, a perfect time for new beginnings. Lunar Yoga during this phase is a restorative practice that takes you inward to plant seeds of intention for what you desire to manifest in your life.
A Moon Circle is an ancient tradition of gathering on or around the New Moon to share stories, create ritual, and support one another through heart-centered community. This circle is an opportunity to find radical connection: connection to nature through the cycle of the moon, connection to one another, and connection to your inner self. The circle will begin with an introduction to the themes of this particular new moon, and may include journaling, guided visualization or meditation, breath work, mantra, check-ins and sharing, ritual, and intention setting.
Working with the lunar cycle invites you to bring more awareness and intention to the way you move through the world. As part of this sacred circle of sisters and brothers, you get to make abundance your default and cultivate more self-love, clarity, and connection every time you look up at the moon!

About the instructor: Chelsea Spicer
After a decade as an avid yogi, Chelsea took the next step in her practice by completing the Life of an Urban Yogi 200-hr teacher training. Since then, she has deepened her education in the schools of yin yoga, teaching teens, and the divine feminine. Chelsea has been teaching and leading workshops at studios and festivals across the northwest, and recently developed a unique style of yoga she calls Lunar Yoga. A self-proclaimed moonchild, Chelsea’s practice is closely aligned with the lunar cycle. Her classes draw inspiration from natural elements as well as the wisdom traditions of yoga and psychology, and any other juicy tidbits Chelsea collects throughout her journey. Her classes feature fun, creative sequencing, an eclectic soundtrack to get your body moving, and intentional theming to help you take your yoga off the mat.
