As we begin another year, let’s come together for a quieting, centering practice so that we may move into this next chapter from that strong center. We will utilize the tools given to us by yoga to destress as this year comes to a close and reconnect to the peace and ease within as we move into the next.

In this extended practice, we will utilize simple props from around your home to give you support during our restorative practice. Restorative yoga is traditionally thought of as postures that use props extensively to support the body during deep relaxation. We will use a few blankets, a strap/belt/bathrobe tie, and a firm cushion/pillow/bolster to support the body during these poses in our simplified restorative practice.

The asana portion of the immersion will be framed by other meditative practices. We will have an extensive pranayama and kriya practice at the beginning to settle the mind. A partially guided meditation will bring the practice to a close, allowing you to move back into life being strongly grounded in this peace within.
