Have you ever made a New Year’s Resolution that felt so authentic that it really stuck?

Most resolutions feel like a chore that we try to force ourselves to stick to because we think we should. Unfortunately the majority of us who make this sort of well-meaning resolution end up discarding them after just a few weeks when the effort seems too great. This can be very discouraging, and may even end up doing us more harm than good! A well-crafted Sankalpa, on the other hand, is a clear intention, a desire from the heart that resonates on a deeper level and feels like a bolster of truth in times of resistance and turmoil. Having a strong and authentic Sankalpa helps to guide us to the fullest and most satisfying expression of our Selves, step-by-mindful-step. A Sankalpa harnesses the incredibly creative powers of the mind and imagination to help make positive change in an irresistible way. A good Sankalpa creates an inner glow and helps us to almost effortlessly attract more of what we really want into our lives.

In this workshop we will use the combined alchemy of asana (movement), pranayama (breath), writing (self-inquiry), yoga nidra (yogic sleep), and ritual to uncover our deepest heart’s desire. We will explore the power of mantra to help bless and then release lingering habitual patterns of thought and behavior that hold us back. We will cultivate gratitude and willingness, creating the ideal conditions for our new seeds of intention to take hold.

Please join us as we welcome in the New Year.
