October 22
| $1700 – $3200Event Navigation

Retreats are an investment in yourself and are one of the most powerful ways to shift into a new gear so you can return to your life more energized, balanced, and inspired. On this retreat we’ll offer two yoga classes per day in a variety of styles to challenge you, nourish you, help you discover your personal edge and then give back to yourself. The yoga shalas at Costa Dulce overlook the ocean to help give you perspective and appreciation and soak in the beauty around you while you heal your inner landscape.
There’s a surf break directly in front of Costa Dulce for anyone who’s interested. Surfing is optional on this retreat but a great opportunity to try even if it’s your first time with one of their instructors. Playa Escameca is a private, uncrowded beach with perfect waves for beginners, and there are other nearby breaks for intermediate or more advanced surfers.
If you’re not surfing, there are many other ways to enjoy the ocean, surrounding jungle, volcanos, or nearby San Juan del Sur. You will not be disappointed!
Cost for the retreat ranges from $1,700-$3,200 depending on your accommodation choice. Sign up and save your spot by putting down an $800 deposit now, then book your room directly with Costa Dulce.

About the instructors: Mary-Kate Jackson & Sherry McConkey
Mary-Kate Jackson has been enjoying the outdoors since she was a young kid growing up in Maine. She has a passion for moving her body, which yoga fulfills on the daily, and sports like surfing, skiing and mountain biking light her up. She has been teaching yoga for 9 years and loves to share the benefits with others so they can experience what a daily yoga practice can do to enhance all the other movement practices in life to build strength, resilience, and avoid injury. Bringing yoga and surfing together for a weeklong retreat is a dream come true and she can’t wait to share this special place with others.
Sherry has been dedicated to her practice and teaching others for over a decade. She has over 800 hours of yoga training and says she will always keep educating herself to deepen her understanding. Between raising her daughter Ayla and running her non-profit, the Shane McConkey Foundation, she is constantly learning and kept on her toes. Even when life is extremely difficult, she finds her way back to her mat. Her goal is to help people find yoga for their physical bodies because it’s a perfect way to give back to ourselves so we can continue to play and appreciate our beautiful world for the rest of our lives.
