Old School Vinyasa Yoga Rooted in Tradition. Alive in the Moment.

Vinyasa Yoga as taught by the legendary T Krishnamacharya is a complete method for personal health and evolution that integrates practices for the body, breath and mind in a way that is safe, powerful and effective. These practices, first developed in the ancient shamanic culture of the Indus Valley and adapted to our modern lives, promote a healthy body, clear mind and a deep connection to self, community and ecology.

This 2.5-hour class by Brian James Kroeker will introduce participants to Krishnamacharya’s essential principles of practice that have been lost in translation as Vinyasa Yoga has developed in the West, and reveal with clarity and practicality the secrets of vinyasa, pranayama, bandha, mudra and nada (sound) in a complete and integrated practice. When these principles are put into practice it cultivates a state of deep relaxation and refined awareness in which meditation arises naturally and easily. This class will conclude with an extended Savasana Soundbath.
