Deepen your yoga practice by becoming a certified yoga instructor and get certified to share your love of yoga with others! This rewarding intensive yoga teacher training program is all online, in real time through videoconferencing. Learn from instructor Dee Williams, owner of Kanjin Yoga, alongside a community of yogis.

During this 200-hour program, you’ll learn the following:
Fundamentals of Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga
How to structure a class
Use of props
Movement dynamic
Proper modifications
Meditation techniques
Effective cueing
Anatomy and physiology
Yoga philosophy
Nutritional concepts

Graduates of this class will receive certification from Seattle Central College and are eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance.
This course is being offered through GoToMeeting videoconferencing. It is live, in real-time, and you will be interacting online with the instructor and fellow students.

Note: The instruction and information about online course access will be provided by the instructor. A portion of this course may be recorded for shared learning and review during this course only, and any recordings will be deleted after the end of the quarter. A personal computer with camera and microphone is required. Material and supply fees are not included in the class fee.

About the instructor: Dee Williams

Dee WilliamsDee Williams (RYT-500) is the founder of Kanjin Yoga and teaches an inspired blend of classical Hatha yoga.

Since 2001, Dee has studied with a variety of teachers, including B.K.S Iyengar Senior Teachers, master teachers at the Bikram Yoga College of India and Integrative Restoration (iREST) Institute founder Richard Miller in the practice of Yoga Nidra, and many other recognized yoga teachers.

Dee helps her students in finding deeper expressions beyond yoga asana based on her studies and practice of meditation and mindfulness-based stress reduction.

Additional certifications include HealthPoint Silver Sneakers FLEX Yoga, Warriors at Ease for teaching trauma-informed yoga for military veterans, the dance-inspired fitness program Zumba, and yoga therapy with the foundation of Ayurveda for natural wellness.

Dee’s sees her passion for learning and teaching yoga as a service to the community.

She explains on her website, “Today I most enjoy helping others get started on their yoga path. It is my wish to be of service to help others find a place for yoga in their everyday lives and use yoga to learn more about the deeper meaning of living life to the fullest.”
